Why I run this camp
A 7-day lodge-based ski touring and volcano expedition in southern Chile's Araucanía region. Four volcanoes (Lonquimay, Llaima, Tolhuaca, and Sierra Nevada), each with ski descents from the summit. Based at Casa Río Lodge in Malalcahuello throughout the week with all meals provided. A natural companion trip for those joining the Antarctica Ski Cruise. The volcanoes of southern Chile offer a completely different kind of skiing and some of the most distinctive terrain in the Andes.

Travel
Fly into Temuco (ZCO) via Santiago (SCL). Shared transfer from Temuco Airport, approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to the lodge.
